Deep action pleats on both sides of the back and three pleats on the elbows provide excellent movement.
The 3-piece construction under the armpits makes this shirt jacket even more mobile.
The vintage outdoor shirt we used as a sample was designed by a manufacturer that was a contractor for the US military in the 40's and 50's, and the experience gained from military wear was directly applied to the outdoor jacket.

The fabric is polycotton broadcloth.
Since it is a blend of synthetic fibers, it always maintains a dry texture. It's a beautiful and very high quality fabric.
