GEM PACK – Signature Backpack Featuring Dyneema®

The GEM PACK, famously carried by the iconic COB Bear, is a signature model that dates back to the brand’s founding in 1971. While maintaining its retro silhouette, this latest version has been updated with features for modern functionality.

The main fabric used in this model is DYNEEMA® Composite Fabric – a revolutionary material that boasts 15 times the strength of steel while remaining light enough to float on water. This brings significant upgrades in both durability and weight.

Staying true to the 70s-style frame pack design, the GEM PACK now features S-shaped shoulder straps that offer a more comfortable, body-conforming fit. The dual side pockets include an upper flap pocket and a lower drawstring pocket with generous depth, making it ideal for holding bulky gear like Nalgene bottles.

A side zipper has been added to provide direct access to the main compartment, solving the common problem of flap-style backpacks being inconvenient when retrieving items quickly.
